How did Amy become a Myotherapist and Remedial Massage therapist?
Amy has completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage at Victoria University, and an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at RMIT.
What other qualifications has Amy attained?
Other qualifications that Amy has attained include;
- Myofascial Dry Needling
- Pilates Instructor training
- First Aid Certificate
Why did Amy want to become a Myotherapist?
Amy developed a passion for soft tissue therapy during her beauty therapy studies. She wanted to take her skills further to help alleviate people of their musculoskeletal pain.
What type of Myotherapist is Amy?
Amy has continued to develop her skills by completing a Pilates instructor certification, giving her the ability to treat a wide range of clients from desk workers to elite athletes.
She likes to place focus on getting her clients back to doing the things they love through a combination of hands on techniques including; remedial massage, myofascial release, myofascial dry needling and cupping, and home care activities.
She has a particular interest in providing manual lymphatic drainage in order to treat many different conditions including post injury swelling and chronic headaches.
Why has Amy joined Holistic Bodyworks?
Now Amy has a desire to further his experience by joining the Holistic Bodyworks team of Osteopaths, Myotherapists and Remedial Massage therapists. She is excited about working in the team environment as she believes in Holistic Healthcare.
