Dr Nicholas Ibarra – New Osteopath in Oakleigh South

We’d like to welcome the newest member to our team, Dr. Nicholas Ibarra, Osteopath.

Dr. Nicholas Ibarra will be starting this Saturday so we thought we’d tell you a little about him…


Why did Nick become an Osteopath?

Nick has always seen the importance of maintaining a happy healthy lifestyle. Being able to aid people to return to the things they love, whether it be a particular sport, work or family brings him great fulfilment.


How did Nick become the Osteopath he is today?

Nick graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Master of Osteopathy. He also completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at La Trobe University. Further increasing his skills, he has since completed Myofascial Dry Needling and Sports taping courses.


What is Nick passionate about?

Nick is passionate about the holistic approach that osteopathy provides and enjoys treating all patients alike. As well as private practice, Nick also works in the aged care sector. He sees the importance of patient education, rehabilitation and injury prevention. This has given Nick great experience in a wide range of injuries as well as the importance of education towards musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain.


What are Nick’s interests?

Outside of the clinic, Nick has developed a keen interest in running, cycling, training in the gym and follows the Richmond Tigers.


Why has Nick joined Holistic Bodyworks?

Now Nick has a desire to further his experience as an Osteopath by joining the Holistic Bodyworks team of Osteopaths, Myotherapists and Remedial Massage therapists. He is excited about working in the team environment as he believes in Holistic Healthcare.

Holistic Bodyworks offers patients in the South East of Melbourne a treatment facility where they can feel nurtured, respected, and supported through their recovery from illness or injury.

We treat patients from all backgrounds, seeking relief from injury or illness, or as a preventative measure for overall well-being and vitality. Our patients range from babies and children, pre and postnatal women to older people wanting to increase strength, balance, and mobility.
