How did Marian become the Osteopath she is today?
Marian Gabriel understands the powerful impact of hands-on healthcare in restoring balance, function, and well-being.
Her journey into osteopathy began with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, providing her with a strong foundation in human physiology. Her passion for holistic, patient-centred care then led her to complete a double degree in Clinical Science and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University, where she graduated with High Distinction.
What is Osteopath Marian passionate about?
Marian brings a warm, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to every consultation. She is especially passionate about supporting patients through both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and integrates a variety of techniques to address each individual’s needs. Her growing interest in visceral techniques further enriches her treatment approach, allowing her to consider the body as a deeply interconnected system.
Her clinical experience spans both community and elite sports settings, including work with Melbourne Victory Football Club and Oakleigh Chargers. She has successfully treated a wide range of presentations from postural dysfunction and joint pain to sports injuries and mobility concerns always with a focus on restoring movement and quality of life.
How does Osteopath Marian Gabriel spend her spare time?
Outside the treatment room, Osteopath Marian is a sessional academic at Victoria University, where she teaches anatomy and physiology. She is passionate about shaping the future of healthcare by educating the next generation of health professionals.
When she’s not in the clinic or classroom, Marian enjoys playing table tennis, cooking, reading, listening to music, exploring nature, and spending quality time with her family.

Osteopath Marian has a desire to further her experience as an Osteopath by joining the Holistic Bodyworks team of Osteopaths and Remedial Massage therapists. She is excited about working in the team environment as she believes in Holistic Healthcare.
